Wild East presents two rare Spaghetti Westerns from two directors who also served as screenwriters.
In Nest of Vipers, dissolute, habitually drunk and hiding out in Mexico after committing an accidental atrocity in the United States, an American gunfighter (Luke Askew) becomes a pawn in the plot of a corrupt Mexican policeman (Luigi Pistilli), who intends to steal a massive inheritance that rightfully belongs to a young boy, the illegitimate son of a deceased don. Sent to kill without question (and then be hanged for the crime), the gunfighter refuses to pull the trigger when he learns the identity of his target and becomes the object of a manhunt.
Tails You Lose tells the story of notorious outlaw William Huston (John Ericson) who finds a naked and unconscious prostitute named Shanda Lee (Spela Rozin) in the desert. While falling in love with her, he learns that she has been framed for the murder of the bank president of the town of Plata. She was dragged out into the desert and left to die by three hired gunmen so that she couldn't defend herself. Hunter goes to Plata to exact revenge and to prove Shanda's innocence by revealing the real murderer.
