During the early '70s, Joe Simon may have been drowning in a sea of love, but in the mid to late '60s, he was drowning in a sea of hits. Simon combined R&B and country to great success with songs such as "The Chokin' Kind", "Nine Pound Steel" and "You Keep Me Hangin' On". In the '70s Simon left the industry to devote his life to the church. This collection of his late '60s work is a tribute to his talent.
