Warning: this album is misleadingly titled. It's not a best-of compilation, but an album of new material recorded in 1994. Trading on Eartha Kitt's popularity as a camp icon, various dance music producers, including Jacques Morali and Pete Belolo, who created the Village People, wrote and produced these hi-NRG tracks for Kitt's trademark purring vocals. The results are probably of more interest to dance fans than fans of Kitt's usual slinky jazz-pop, but the combination works exceedingly well, especially on tongue-in-cheek tracks like "Sugar Daddy," "I Love Men" and the dramatic "La Grande Vie."
