The Los Angeles-based vocal group the Pentagons are chiefly remembered by doo wop fans for a pair of 1961 hits, "To Be Loved" and "I Wonder," but the Pentagons actually practiced a much more varied palette than that, edging into what might almost be called surf music with the goofy but fun "Down at the Beach," and coming close to straight-out soul with the Motown-like "Your Good Lovin'." This set is pretty brief, but it does have the essential tracks presented with no frills and no filler. ~ Steve Leggett

WOW I have not heard any of these songs for years. My Father is one of the Members in this group. It is nice to see that people are still enjoying the Pentagons today like I did when I was a kid.
