Product Description:

Personnel: Ronnie James Dio (vocals); Ritchie Blackmore (guitar); David Stone (keyboards); Cozy Powell (drums).
Recording information: Munich Olympiahalle, Germany (10/20/1977).
Though the band released an official live album, On Stage, in 1977, that same year also found the band recording a session for the German television show Rockpalast. After almost 30 years of making it into the hands of fans only as a bootleg, this performance has finally received an official release from Eagle Records. Of note to fans of the band, this performance is the first to feature bassist Bob Daisley and keyboardist David Stone, who would also appear on Rainbow's third studio album, Long Live Rock 'n' Roll, before parting ways with the band the following year. ~ Gregory Heaney
