Sigmund Ooze (Billy Barty) is a green, scaly sea monster who can't seem to scare anyone. His family--Big Daddy, Sweet Mama, and brothers Slurp and Blurp--show their compassion by kicking him out of their cave at Dead Man's Point. But his luck changes when he is befriended by much nicer brothers Johnny and Scott Stuart (Johnny Whitaker and Scott Kolden), who keep him in their backyard clubhouse, away from the public eye. This is a tale of two families, as only the incomparable Sid & Marty Krofft could imagine it.

Its hero is Sigmund Ooze (Billy Barty), a sweet little sea monster who's an outcast from his family because he refuses to scare anybody. Fortunately, he's taken in by two brothers named Johnny and Scott (Johnny Whitaker and Scott Kolden), who keep his mean relatives from kidnapping him, while making sure no one finds his secret home in their backyard clubhouse. All 17 episodes from the first season of this classic show are collected here.
