When a gunman known only as Joe (Ernie Adams) needs someone to drive him quickly across the Mexican border with his stolen bonds, he calls on Speed Brent (Bob Steele), a cowboy/athlete who has made headlines by winning a cross-country auto race. Agreeing to drive in exchange for a large sum of money, Brent is ambushed by a team of hired thugs. Brent regains consciousness and saddles up with Chuck Wiggins (Gabby Hayes) to capture the gang and recover the loot.

Bob Steele ignites the screen in the role of Speed Brent, a talented jack-of-all-trades. In this unique B-western, Steele boxes, drives a racecar, and even handles a sword. Gabby Hayes, everybody's favorite sidekick, shines alongside Bob Steele in this offbeat cowboy classic.
