This two-fer from the legendary harmony vocal group includes a pair of albums that purists scoffed at when they hit the shelves in the 1960s. While both Greatest Hits in Stereo and Great Golden Hits live up to their claims as far as the song titles go, listeners looking for the original versions of Andrews Sisters classics like "Beat Me Daddy Eight to the Bar," "Bei Mir Bist Du Schon," and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" may be disappointed, as they (along with all of the other cuts) are re-recordings that update the sisters' sound for the mod age. ~ James Christopher Monger
