Description by OLDIES.com:

Pretty teenager Corliss Archer (Ann Baker), her lovable but clumsy boyfriend, Dexter Franklin (Bobby Ellis), and her unwitting parents, Harry and Janet Archer (John Eldredge and Mary Brian) get into one hysterical situation after another in four hilarious episodes of the popular TV comedy series. "Meet Corliss Archer" was inspired by the 1949 British film, A Kiss for Corliss (aka Almost A Bride), with the teenage Shirley Temple playing the lead.

Episode 1 - The Algebra Problem: The Archers and Franklins are stumped by one of Corliss and Dexter's high school algebra problems, and it's driving them all crazy.

Episode 2 - Quaranteened: Corliss gets the measles and Dexter is quarantined at the Archer home for a week. Absolutely miserable, Harry is counting the days before his daughter's clumsy boyfriend can finally return to his own home.

Episode 3 - No Clothes for the Party: Corliss wants to borrow her mother's evening wrap for the dance Saturday night, and Dexter wants to borrow Harry's tuxedo. The trouble is neither teenager can muster the courage to ask the grownups for what they want.

Episode 4 - The Best Policy: Janet Archer gives her daughter some motherly advice about speaking her mind, it backfires wildly when Corliss tests her newfound honesty on Dexter.

Product Description:

Four episodes are included here: "The Algebra Problem," in which a math questions stumps the family; "Quaranteened," which sees Corliss and her boyfriend holed up in the family home with a bout of the measles; "No Clothes for the Party," in which Corliss plans on going to a fancy dance; and "The Best Policy," in which honesty doesn't always turn out to be the best policy.

Rating 4.5 Great Show! Movie Lover: from mount dandenong, Victoria AU -- February, 14, 2008

I love this show, It's corny but cute. It's got a delightfully "Retro" feel to it, and is quite a 50's time-capsule.
