Description by OLDIES.com:

Nervously pacing a hospital room floor, young medical intern Robert Morley (Randolph Scott) is grief-stricken when he learns that his wife has died during childbirth. Wanting nothing to do with his son, the tormented new father leaves the baby with relatives and travels abroad to complete his studies.

Returning home six years later, Robert is now a successful physician engaged to a beautiful debutante (Martha Sleeper). Trouble brews when Doctor Morley sees his son again and experiences a dramatic change of heart.

Fighting to regain custody of his son, Robert brings the unruly child to his home. Unfortunately for his new wife, adjusting to life as a threesome is far more hazardous than anyone could have ever expected.

A handsome leading man who became one of Hollywood's most enduring western figures, Randolph Scott starred in The Texans (1938), When The Daltons Rode (1940), Gunfighters (1947) and The Tall T (1957). The versatile actor appeared in several comedies and dramas, including Hot Saturday (1932) with Cary Grant. His last film is director Sam Peckinpah's Ride the High Country (1962), a rare instance in which Scott does not play the good guy.

Product Description:

Randolph Scott stars as Dr. Robert Morley in this 1933 melodrama, a grieved and heartbroken widow whose wife has died in childbirth. Morley is disinterested in his new son, who survived the ordeal, and takes off for Europe to continue his career, leaving the boy in the care of relatives. Returning six years later, his wounds healed and with a new bride-to-be on his arm, the doctor feels differently about his abandoned son. He takes up a fight to win custody from the aunt and uncle who have thus far raised the child, but just when things start to go Morley's way, he faces a new hurdle when problems develop between his beautiful socialite wife and his son.
