Rating 5.0 Excellent Rough Riders! Movie Lover: from Commack, NY US -- December, 5, 2007

This Rough Riders outing featuring Buck Jones, Tim McCoy and Raymond Hatton has all the right ingredients for a B Western. The trio is in top form as they figure out the mysterious happenings around the Ghost Town where the gold shipments that pass through are disappearing. Another winner from the Rough Riders!

Rating 5.0 The Amazing Rough Riders Ride! Movie Lover: from New York CIty, NY US -- May, 28, 2005

The Rough Riders series may have well been the best of the Western Trio series of the 30's and 40's. Two certified stars in Tim McCoy and Buck Jones, and one of the best supporting players in the B-Movie genre in Raymond Hatton. This film is the best of the series when it came to showcasing all three of its stars. The other Rough Riders films gave the majority of screen time to Buck Jones (nothing wrong with that, mind you - he was afterall, the idol to most of the other Western stars of the day. They say that Wild Bill Elliott based everything he did - short of the way he wore his guns - on Buck). The story and setting is also incredibly atmospheric. All in all a great way to spend an hour. For Western fans, this is Buck and Tim at their best. For new people to the B-Western world, it is a great and fun intro to 3 men whose influnence on the genre goes beyond words.
