Description by OLDIES.com:
Texas Ranger Larry Graham risks his life in order to recover a small fortune in stolen cash. Captain John Saunders, chief of the local Rangers, is dead set on forcing the recently imprisoned but uncooperative Ace Beldon to reveal the location of the $250,000 he stole. Posing as a fellow inmate, Ranger Graham stages a jailbreak with Ace in tow, gaining his trust and joining his gang. Captain Saunders warns him that it may be too dangerous to proceed, but Graham wants to see this mission through to the end.
Kermit Maynard, brother of cowboy hero Ken Maynard, stars as Texas Ranger Larry Graham. Though he originally worked in motion pictures as a stuntman and stand-in for his famous brother, he went on to star in a series of western films, and played bit parts in many others.
Kermit Maynard stars in this B-movie western of superior quality, as Texas Ranger Larry Graham, who is charged with the task of locating $200,000 worth of stolen bonds. To this end, he goes to jail undercover and befriends the man convicted of the crime, Ace Beldon (Maston Williams). With the help of fellow Ranger Tim Raymond (Jack Ingram), the pair make their escape from prison. Graham follows the criminal to a ranch where some other shady characters are hiding out, including Dave Stone (Karl Hackett), Sam (Sherry Tansey), Bart (Cliff Parkinson), and Karl (Cherokee Alcorn), all of whom were participants in the crime. Before the Rangers can find what they came for, though, the villains start to suspect what is really going on. The beautiful Harlene Wood also stars.

A better than average western with great stunt riding skills up front by one of the west's better riders. Kermit never made it as big as brother Ken, but had a long career -- along with his friend Yakima Canutt -- doing stunt/doubling for many other cowboy stars .. including Tom Tyler and his brother Ken. A very decent little film.
