Since the release of The Element of Freedom, Alicia Keys married and began a family with producer Swizz Beatz and either appeared on or produced material for a number of albums, including Kanye West's My Dark Beautiful Twisted Family, Emeli Sand‚'s Our Version of Events, and Miguel's Kaleidoscope Dream. Girl on Fire, her fifth album, was put together with her husband, as well as the likes of Salaam Remi, Jeff Bhasker, and John Legend. The album features "Brand New Me," a song Keys regards as her autobiography, and the inspiring title track, her 18th Billboard Hot 100 single.
