Figure out the "who-dun-it?" on this one.....if you can!
Movie Lover: RAMIEM from Oil City, PA US -- September, 4, 2007
WOW...this murder mystery had us going till the end. There is a good clue in the first few minutes of the movie but I'll bet you overlook it..just as my wife and I did. Add this one to your collection. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!
The King Murder - bona-fide thriller
Movie Lover: Laura Demilio from Pittsburgh, PA US -- July, 8, 2005
This story had some pizazz to it - one wasn't quite sure how it would turn out, and the malignant femme fatale was aptly portrayed. Also gives credence to the fact that Robert Frazer acted in lots of low-budget movies in the early 1930's - everyone just thinks he was in White Zombie, and the 1933 low-grade exploitation roadshow Guilty Parents
Interesting mystery done in by horrible pacing
Movie Lover: Stephen Kopian from Glen Head, NY US -- August, 9, 2004
This early sound mystery is a bit dull. Its not the fault of the plot, rather its the pacing and lack of music score that does this film in. Its all in the pacing, which in this case is a bit too slow to truly sustain interest during a late night viewing (I love to watch these late at night).
If you can take the slow pace this is a good mystery, but if you need your mysteries to move along at a good clip then try something else.
