Super Hits focuses exclusively on Crystal Gayle's recordings for Columbia Records (1979-1981). Included are ten of her biggest hits, like "Half the Way," "Too Many Lovers," "The Blue Side," and "It's Like We Never Said Goodbye." Though there would've been plenty of room for additional hits, this disc isn't bad value at a cheap price. It fills a key gap in her catalog, as most Gayle best-ofs chronicle either her years with United Artists (1974-1979) or her subsequent years with Elektra/Warner Brothers Records (1982-1988).
