Released in 2009, Rompiendo Cadenas is Latin Grammy Award-winner Ana B rbara's tenth studio album, and her first since parting company with Fonovisa Records. Produced by the likes of Javier Calder¢n, Guillermo Gil, and Luny Tunes, its 11 self-penned tracks combine her trademark grupero sound with a more mainstream pop sensibility than her previous efforts. The album features the title track lead single and the hit "Que Ironia," which appears in its original form and in a remixed rock bonus track. ~ Jon O'Brien
