Blonde Savage DVD
Movie Lover: from Vancouver, British Columbia -- May, 19, 2005
An okay take on the Sheena or Tarzan theme, told mostly in flashback by a pilot, named Steve Blake. He's hired by the villian,Harper, to locate an African village ,supposedly to barter with them for rights to a diamond mine. Turns out Harper wants the village located so he can send henchmen in to kill the natives who witnessed him murder his business partners years ago. BUT! The baby girl if the victims survives and is raised by the natives. Well, Blake's plane crashes, he's found by the natives, and SUPRISE! He and the grown up Blonde Savage fall in love, they return to Harper and foil his plans. Now, this is not a bad movie, but do not expect it to be like Tarzan or Sheena. There's no vine swinging, safari's for hidden treasure, or fighting crocodiles bare handed. There's a few tense mins with abit of action, but it's not a jungle adventure flick.
