Like most movies in which Edgar G. Ulmer was involved, Strange Illusion is worth a look. But even better is the poster someone put together for this film, with the glowering skull between the punk in the melancholy Dane role and the great Warren William, playing the not-so-kindly uncle/stepfather. Make no mistake, most Alpha Video posters are gorgeous, but this is outstanding.
