Dead Man's Folly: (1985) Peter Ustinov is Belgian sleuth Hercule Poirot, pitting his little grey cells against a cunning killer in a lively adaption of Agatha Christie's novel. Jean Stapleton ("All in the Family") co-stars as Poirot's old friend.
Murder in Three Acts: (1986) Tony Curtis joins Ustinov, playing the ultra-Hollywood Cartwright. The setting is a posh villa in Acapulco, where suspects and motives abound.
Thirteen at Dinner: (1985) Set in Hollywood-on-Thames (in and around London) Poirot is plunged into the alien world of a film crew. With suspects aplenty, including Faye Dunaway in a dual role), Thirteen at Dinner is a full-course mystery.
Three tales laced with drama and suspense unravel on this collection. Peter Ustinov stars as Hercule Poirot in each story, and as usual he has to rely on his cunning detective skills to solve a number of puzzling crimes. The episodes included are "Dead Man's Folly," "Murder In Three Acts," and "Thirteen at Dinner."
