Description by OLDIES.com:
The War Is Over...But The Hate Won't Die.
In Brambles, Texas, town Mayor Sampson Moses (Robert Vaughn) seeks the deed to property owned by a band of orphans led by Billy (Shaw Jones) and guarded by a mysterious ghost (Michael Roland Williams). To acquire it, he will go to any length. Caught in between is Lawyer Neil Morris (Willie Nelson), who is trying to negotiate a peaceful solution.
When the railroad company that plans on building to Brambles puts a deadline on Moses to acquire the land and the precious water it contains, he ups the ante and calls in a professional gunslinger to get rid of Billy and his gang once and for all.
Originally made for the BBC, this chilling tale of obsession and murder shows what can happen when a trusting gentleman answers an ad from a middle-aged woman who is looking for a pen pal.
