Product Description:

Contains 26 tracks.
Personnel: Tex Ritter (vocals, guitar); Rudy Sooter (guitar); Rocky Stone (fiddle); Bill Murray (accordion).
Recording information: Chicago, IL (01/21/1935-01/04/1939); Los Angeles, CA (01/21/1935-01/04/1939); New York, NY (01/21/1935-01/04/1939).
Photographer: Colin Williams.
Arranger: Tex Ritter.
Covering Ritter's Decca recordings between 1935-1939, Sing, Cowboy, Sing features 15 of the 16 songs on the Country Music Hall of Fame collection, omitting only "My Brown Eyed Texas Rose," while adding an additional ten tracks. That alone makes it the better purchase, and the transfers are outstanding to boot, presenting most of these songs with barely a scratch. Once you've absorbed Bear Family's single-disc High Noon collection, this is the next place to go. ~ Jim Smith
