One classic single--the title track--and lots of filler, performed competently but without distinction. By astutely casting the group in a updated doowop style that emphasized their complex close harmonies, Marvin Gaye's guidance gave the group the distinctive personality that it previously lacked as well as the commercial success that they so richly deserved. After years of singing in the background, they stepped into the spotlight, and it was worth it the effort. ~ John Lowe
