Two adventure seeking cowboys (Tom Selleck and Jerry Reed) find themselves in music city USA; Nashville. In an effort to make a few extra dollars the two cowboys pose as private investigators and accept a case to search for a young woman's (Morgan Fairchild) missing sister believed to be the victim of murder. Their new adventure leads them into a situation which is more than they bargained for as they become caught in the middle of murder, blackmail and extortion. A star studded cast, which includes a cameo appearance by Barbara Mandrell.
