Description by OLDIES.com:
The Raven: The sorcerer Craven learns from fellow magician Dr. Bedlo that his supposedly dead wife is alive and living at the castle of master sorcerer Dr. Scarabus.
The Pit and the Pendulum: Vincent Price slowly goes crazy because he thinks his wife was buried alive (a plot between his wife and her lover to get his money). Now totally insane, he starts to murder.
Tales of Terror: Three short stories (Morella, The Black Cat, and The Case of M. Valdemar) based on the works of the master horror writer, Edgar Allan Poe, and feature Vincent Price in the starring role.
The Masque of the Red Death: While the plague rages outside in the small Italian province, the Satan-worshipping prince stays confined to the sanctuary of his castle with his aristocratic guests. Inside, all is revelry and cruelty until, during the great masque which crowns the prince's entertainment, the "Red Death" enters the dance and the guests succumb to the plague...one by one. Based on the classic tale by Edgar Allan Poe.
Madhouse: After suffering a nervous breakdown, a washed-up horror-film actor agrees to do a TV-series based on his old screen creation, the monstrous "Dr. Death." Soon the cast and crew of the series begin dying in ways similar to the deaths the characters suffered in the actor's old movies.
