Description by OLDIES.com:
Originally planned as a children's show, the hillarious "Do Not Adjust Your Set" soon gained a huge adult following. Featuring animations by Terry Gilliam and music interludes by Neil Innes' Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, the program brought together some of the great writers and performers who would go on to create Monty Python. Contains 9 episodes.
Product Description:
The 1967 British television series DO NOT ADJUST YOUR SET holds an esteemed spot in comedy history for featuring the first teaming of future Monthy Python members Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin. Ostensibly a children's show, the series quickly earned an adult following with an inventive brand of surreal sketch comedy that clearly presaged the nascent Python brilliance. Comedic talents David Jason (ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES) and Denise Coffey (THE STANLEY BAXTER SHOW) rounded out the five-member cast while an ensemble group called the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band performed zany musical interludes and an as-yet unknown artist named Terry Gilliam provided animated segments. Even though many of the series' original episodes were erased and thought to be lost forever, this volume presents a collection of salvaged episodes which, along with John Cleese and Graham Chapman's AT LAST THE 1948 SHOW, comprise an often overlooked chapter of Monty Python history.

Yet another look at the earier years of the Monthy Python gang. What an absolute joy to watch their enbridled humor as only they could do it. No wonder they went on to such great success.
