Entertainment Reviews:

Entertainment Weekly - 03/23/2012
"Jason Seel is a natural fit for JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME, a goofy, sweet comedy about estranged siblings who work their way back to brotherly love in the course of a day-long, very shaggy caper of coincidences." -- Grade: B
Chicago Sun-Times - 03/14/2012
3 stars out of 4 -- "[A] whimsical comedy, very whimsical, depending on the warmth of Segal and Sarandon....It's all cute and self-aware, a pleasant joke on the audience, a happy ending for characters we like."
Wall Street Journal - 03/15/2012
"[A] semisweet feature....Most of the material avoids the treacle zone..."
Movieline - 03/16/2012
"There's some genuine sweetness in this story: Jeff may be a clueless galoot who overthinks everything, but he's really searching for something here, and as Segel plays him, he does have a degree of lumpy charm."
New York Times - 03/15/2012
"Ms. Greer is an actress whose crooked smile and sweet chirp of a voice mask formidable emotional power....She helps to jolt the film out of its coy zaniness into a zone of real pain and frustration."
USA Today - 03/16/2012
"Jason Segel plays Jeff with unkempt likability....Sweet and silly, JEFF begins with a hilarious homage to SIGNS, the M. Night Shyamalan thriller..."
Rolling Stone - 03/29/2012
3 stars out of 4 -- "The funny, touching and vital JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME reaffirms your faith in Jay and Mark Duplass. Their films hit you where you live."
Total Film - 07/01/2012
3 stars out of 5 -- "Sarandon's subplot offers grace notes, and she even gets a THELMA & LOUISE moment."

Product Description:

Directing brothers Jay and Mark Duplass examine fate and family in the comedy JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME, starring Jason Segel as the title character, a slacker who still lives with his mother. He spends the vast majority of his time smoking pot and explaining how he's waiting to understand his own fate, using the film SIGNS as the model for how he takes in the world. His brother Pat (Ed Helms) is a salesman in a mid-life crisis having purchased a sweet new sports car over the objections of his wife (Judy Greer). After Jeff answers the phone and a voice demands to speak to "Kevin," the stoner believes this is the sign he's been waiting for. During the course of the day, Jeff and Pat will confront their issues with each other, while their long-suffering mother (Susan Sarandon) may find love for the first time since the death of her husband. The film played at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.
