A pioneering rockabilly singer and a contemporary of Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran, Jack Scott was born in Canada to Italian parents, and grew up in Michigan listening to country music. This best-of collects his late-1950s recordings for the Paramount and Carlton labels, a mix of rockers and ballads which includes hits like "My True Love," The Way I Walk," and "Goodbye Baby," all sung in his distinctive, classy baritone.
