"[I]t's hard to beat for sheer, mind-boggling weirdness....[With] enough bizarre plot twists for three films..."
Teruo Ishii's wonderfully named 1969 feature HORRORS OF MALFORMED MEN has gradually picked up a sizable underground following over the years. The film follows an escapee from an asylum who tries to figure out why he keeps seeing a picture of a man who looks just like him him in a local newspaper. The answer lies on a remote island populated by a mad scientist and the creatures he has created in his lab.
