Description by OLDIES.com:
Take a musical journey with "BET On Jazz: The Jazz Channel" and legendary guitarist/singer/songwriter Bobby Womack as he performs live at Black Entertainment Television Studio II in Washington, D.C. It's classic Womack: gritty, soulful and raw, singing the R&B songs that have made him famous.
Black Entertainment Television presents another episode of their wonderful Jazz performance series. Here they dedicate an hour and a half to the soulful artistry of great rhythm and blues guitarist Bobby Womack. A consistently innovative guitar player since the early 1960's, Womack has worked with Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin and Wilson Pickett (whom he also partied with). In this live performance, Womack plays eighteen of his classics. In addition, the video contains an interview with the guitarist himself.
