As one of the most famous of all American crime series and a cult classic, CRIME STORY (1986-88) was the brainchild of MIAMI VICE creator Michael Mann. Set in 1963, episodes followed Lieutenant Mike Torello (GET SHORTY) of Chicago's Police Major Crime Unit, during his ongoing pursuit of slick and elusive mobster Ray Luca (Anthony Denison). As Luca's power grew exponentially - boosting him from the gritty streets of Chicago to the casinos of Las Vegas - Torello's drive to catch him only became more obsessive. Guest stars included Ving Rhames, Lorraine Bracco, Kevin Spacey, Julia Roberts and Gary Sinise. This box set contains the two-hour pilot episode and each one of the program's two seasons, in full as they originally aired.
