He-Man Action, Italian Style! Muscle star Gordon Scott (Goliath and the Vampires) adds to his long list of cinematic portrayals in this epic tale of action and dishonor in ancient Rome. When Scott attempts to slay the leader of an opposing army, his failure prompts him to thrust his killing hand into a blazing fire as penance. He then must learn to fight one-handed and reclaim his honor in the Hero of Rome (Il Colossa Di Roma, 1964).

Richard Harrison, long associated with classic peplum films like Medusa Against The Son of Hercules gives a sweaty performance here as The Invincible Gladiator (1962). Forced to fight for his very life in the arena of death, he learns the lessons of love, friendship and betrayal.
