Though recently released from the loony bin, The Mad Butcher Otto Lehman is still seriously unhinged. With a healthy appetite for good meat and pretty women, Otto resumes his profession as "the best butcher in Vienna" while obsessing over Berta, a sexy neighbor who loves undressing in front of her window. But when Otto's nagging wife, Anna, threatens to have him recommitted, Herr Lehman first strangles her, then turns Anna into a string of delicious sausages. With his meat treats the hit of Vienna, Otto continues to grind people into sausage links until a suspicious crime reporter tries to stop him before Berta is added to the menu...

A delicious slice of Italian horror spiced with sex and black humor from producer Dick Randall (Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks), The Mad Butcher is also one of the few starring vehicles for corpulent character actor Victor Buono (What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?), who imbues Otto with a colorful mix of comedy and menace as he happily glides from strangulation to slicing steak. Product Description:

A moonstruck and recently de-institutionalized meat cutter falls under suspicion when a number of young women who live near his shop mysteriously disappear. No bodies are discovered, but a new type of sausage appears on the shelves of his store, becoming the toast of Vienna, and encouraging him to grind up even more and tastier meat.
