A personal documentary in the vein of Ross McElwee's cult film SHERMAN'S MARCH, ALWAYS A BRIDESMAID tracks one woman's attempt to make sense of her love life. Nina Davenport, a successful filmmaker and Harvard graduate, is about to turn 30 years old. A wedding photographer, she has become obsessed with the idea of marriage, and must confront her own unfulfilled desires as a women with a noncommittal boyfriend. With intelligence, sensitivity, and a sense of humor, Davenport films her own personal quest for romantic fulfillment and satisfaction.
