Rating 5.0 Letting the Public Know What was Going On Movie Lover: from Sunny Isles Beach, FL US -- November, 28, 2005

Award-winning film-maker Frank Capra embarked on what was arguably the greatest project of his distinguished career by showing the American public (this is before TV, mind you) just what was going on, all over the world, and why we had to put our lives on the line in WW-II. In theaters all across America, Capra's films showed us the atrocities of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan, and how we were the only nation who could even hope to stop the devastating carnage of a world war. Make no mistake... in WW-II, Americans KNEW what they were fighting for... thanks to Capra and all the U.S. Combat Photographers who risked their lives, going in with the troops, to record the war... heroes, all.
