During a fierce bombing by German planes of civilian targets, Trapes realizes he has been duped and tries to get the story to the newspapers, but he is kidnapped before the story can get out, and the newspaper office is bombed to make sure it won't get in print. Unpublished Story is a suspenseful war thriller which takes the action from the battlefields of Europe to the panic-filled streets and bomb shelters of London during the blitz.

Well done British War film Movie Lover: from Middle Village, NY US -- March, 26, 2010

Released in 1942 while England was still the target of German attacks, this film tells a gripping story about German fifth-columnists hoping to break the spriit of the British people. It is a wartime propoganda film but far above many of its kind. It contains some interesting footage of the blitz in London including a great scene in the London underground. If you're an Anglophile the way I am, this is a film to see. Bravo!
