Duncan Renaldo stars as author O. Henry's righteous outlaw THE CISCO KID in this groundbreaking television series. THE CISCO KID was the first American program to feature a Latino actor in the lead role and was also the first weekly series to be filmed entirely in color. In the late 19th century, the Cisco Kid and his sidekick Pancho roam the West, helping the needy, while battling bandits and villains. THE CISCO KID combines good natured action with comedy (most centered on the bumbling Pancho) and romance (from the dandy Cisco) in the manner of 1950s television. I'm 66 years of age and felt 10 years old again while watching these funny,sometimes serious adventures. The color and sound was quite good for as old as the film is.I have bought about all the Cisco Kid items and have enjoyed this product.These programs were used to teach us value of life in the 40' and 50's.Fred From Austin.

I QUITE ENJOY WATCHING THESE AGAIN AS IT TAKES ME BACK TO WHAT I USED TO VIEW WHEN WE FIRST HAD A TV . I DO CRINGE A BIT BECAUSE THEY WERE MADE FOR CHILDRENS TV AND COMPARED TO ADULT WESTERNS THEY WERE TACKELY MADE. I THINK THE OUTDOOR ACTION IS GOOD BUT LEO CARRILLO IS PATHETIC IN MOST OF HIS SCENES. HOWEVER FOR NOSTALGIA SIT BACK AND ENJOY THEM FOR WHAT THEY ARE. QUITE HARMLESS.
