The master of horror, Vincent Price, and the 'bewitching' Agnes Moorehead star in this classic adaptation of the famous stage hit. Murder, mystery and terror abound in this bone-chilling thriller. There's a creaky old mansion, a small fortune in stolen money, dead bodies, a hooded mad killer, bats and suspects galore to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end! And don't forget - when the bat flies, someone dies!

Yes, the low budget shows, but with pros like Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead on hand, how can you go wrong?

The Bat does keep you guessing until the end. Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead will not let you down.
I enjoy a good mystery/thriller.
Just keep in mind that this is as stated above a low budget movie.
However, if you enjoy Mr. Price and Ms. Moorehead's movies (and I do), you will like this one.
The supporting cast is not bad either.

Although there is not much of a "bat" involved in the movie, it is still quite entertaining and well directed.
An excellent thriller!

Good
mystery from Allied Artists Studios(which used to be Monogram). Vincent Price and Gavin Gordon are doctor and detective respectively who are trying to unravel identity of the mysterious criminal "The Bat". Lower budgeted than a lot of Price's other films but enough characters to keep you guessing right until the end.
