Rating 4.5 LOW-BUDGET GEM!! Movie Lover: from CHESHIRE, MA US -- September, 28, 2010

Yes, the low budget shows, but with pros like Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead on hand, how can you go wrong? A great little suspense film -- I really enjoyed it!!

Rating 3.5 I agree! Movie Lover: from Birmingham, AL US -- November, 28, 2007

The Bat does keep you guessing until the end. Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead will not let you down. I enjoy a good mystery/thriller. Just keep in mind that this is as stated above a low budget movie. However, if you enjoy Mr. Price and Ms. Moorehead's movies (and I do), you will like this one. The supporting cast is not bad either.

Rating 4.5 The Bat Movie Lover: from Meadville, PA US -- August, 2, 2006

Although there is not much of a "bat" involved in the movie, it is still quite entertaining and well directed.

Rating 5.0 An excellent thriller! Movie Lover: from County Durham, England UK -- June, 19, 2005

50's thrillers don't get much better than this, it is superb. Prince is great and it's a really good who-done-it! I won't spoil the ending for you...Get this and find out WHO the Bat really is?

Rating 4.0 The Bat Movie Lover: from clamart, Hauts-de-Seine FR -- March, 29, 2004

Good mystery from Allied Artists Studios(which used to be Monogram). Vincent Price and Gavin Gordon are doctor and detective respectively who are trying to unravel identity of the mysterious criminal "The Bat". Lower budgeted than a lot of Price's other films but enough characters to keep you guessing right until the end.
