Vocally, Williams has the range to belt at full volume and swoon with under-the-breath sighs.

Still, much of the time he finds a happy middle ground whereby the tune is given stately support. "The Exodus Song" seems as though it was written with Williams in mind. He has a knack for religious material, and he belts the theme with a devout fervor. Yet even in the less sacred music, like "Maria," he raises the ballad to a profound level.
