Hailing from Pennsylvania, this 1960s vocal four-piece had its first hit in 1965 with "You're the One," previously recorded by Petula Clark. This song and its follow-up, "Five O'Clock World," both of which peaked at number four, are among the many featured on this extensive best-of. The influence of '50s harmony groups like the Four Freshmen is heard on tracks like "Mr. Sun" and "True Lovers," while their version of British songwriters Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway's "Lovers of the World Unite" presages both the rise of folk-rock and flower power, and also bears distinct traces of early Who.
