Ten years ago, a 22-year old Nashville-based songwriter named Sarah Siskind penned a record called Covered, laced with her well regarded taste of Appalachian music and with help from guitar icon Bill Frisell. The album's planned wide-scale release was derailed due to an unexpected illness, and it went largely unnoticed by the masses. Four years later and fully recovered, Sarah emerged with her sights set high once again and conquered. Yet Covered remained hidden in plain sight, until now. Still overdue Covered is available for the first time on vinyl.
