On their second album, Banished to Bogeyland, Inspecter [sic] 7 wallow in the seamier side of life, their subject matter concerning substance abuse, mass murderers and venereal disease, in addition to the standard breakup laments. Still, this being ska, the darkness is more cartoonish than haunting. The album also contains re-recordings of two songs that appeared on a 7" split with the Skoidats ("Asbury Park" and "Junior Guzzler"). ~ Steve Huey
