On its third full-length studio album, ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES, the Ontario, Canada-based ensemble Silverstein sticks to its emo guns, offering up another urgent and expressive set. Although the group still features some cathartic "screamo" moments, vocalist Shane Told leans more towards melodic singing on this outing, a subtle shift best exemplified by the catchy, hook-driven "Sound of the Sun." Given the group's slightly more accessible sound, ARRIVALS is the perfect entry point for new Silverstein fans.
