You may don't believe, but i heard Nick Gilder's "FREQUENCY" in 1980 in the times of USSR on LP. It was the one of my favourite albums and i remember stiil all the songs from it. I searched for many years "Frequency" on CD and now i'm happy to order this one for my collection. My favourite songs are "Watchers in the night" and "Into the 80's", but all others are wonderful too, no filler tracks. Album's sound is great and similar to SPIDER's s/t 1980 or PAT BENATAR 1979 "in the heat of the night".
Glorious!

I was absolutely delighted when I found out that Frequency was finally going to be on CD for the first time.
This time City Nights sounds great, a lot better than the first CD reissue (not by Collectables) from 2003, which was negatively altered. Frequency sounds absolutely amazing. I've had an old record and an old cassette of it for years and I never thought that I'd hear it sound this good. I've noticed a couple of details that I've never heard before, and I'm the kind of guy who notices every little detail in my music. I'm so glad that this great album is finally on CD. I'd truly call this the definitive Nick Gilder CD. I also recommend The Best Of Nick Gilder - Hot Child In The City for its six songs from You Know Who You Are (never on CD), but that CD only has twelve songs (the other six are from these two albums). With this CD, you get great sound, the most songs for the lowest price, and two complete albums, arguably Gilder's two best. Collectables has done a marvelous job here. I'd really love to see them release the rest of Gilder's great albums on CD.
