This 2-CD set includes three Miriam Makeba albums originally released in 1967 and 1968 on the Reprise label. "In Concert" was recorded at New York's Philharmonic Hall at Lincoln Center. Shortly after the release of these albums, Makeba married Black Panther Stokely Carmichael, which resulted in the cancellation of both her concerts and her recording contract with Reprise.
