Vocalist John Gary had much in common with the laid-back vocal styles of Perry Como, Andy Williams, and Jerry Vale. Unfortunately he never gained the reputation or financial stability they did. In the early '60s Gary covered a wide variety of music that appealed to the easy listening audience. Somehow he got lost in the shuffle when record companies began signing anything Beatle-like. In 2003 Collectables reissued many of his RCA albums that had been out of print for years, as two-fers with original song sequence and cover art.
