- "...Harmless popcorn fun of the highest water. In its bullheaded, polished, something-for-everyone directness, it's ruthlessly successful..."
Original score composed by Edward Shearmur.
"Feel Good Time" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals.
The inevitable sequel to the smash CHARLIE'S ANGELS film brings with it a soundtrack album that, like the '70s TV-derived movie, successfully merges old with new. A passel of guilty-pleasure '70s and '80s hits is on offer, from Journey's AOR classic "Any Way You Want It" to Andy Gibb's distinctly Bee Gees-like "I Just Wanna Be Your Everything" (written by big brother Barry). On the more contemporary side, but still mixing the past with present, Nickelback teams with Kid Rock for a version of Elton John's "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)" that's more Kiss than Reg. In the ultimate collision of yesterday and today, the Pink track "Feel Good Time," a collaboration with William Orbit and Beck, is built around a sample from '60s rockers Spirit's jazz/rock/Latin amalgam "Fresh Garbage."
