Description by OLDIES.com:

Granted all areas access, the Maysles Brothers filmed The Beatles off-guard and off-duty; in hotel rooms and nightclubs, at photo-sessions, press conferences, traveling side-by-side in limos and on trains to record the trip as The Beatles sped around the States leaving the nation spellbound. Besides revealing The Beatles offstage, this extended version of the Maysles documentary now includes film of their debut concert at The Washington Coliseum and their three historic appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show - including the seminal moment on February 9th when the band first exploded into the homes of 73 million TV viewers.

Product Description:

A day-by-day look at The Beatles' first tour in the USA, beginning with their arrival on February 7, 1964. Featured is off-stage footage of the four band members on the road and in their hotel rooms as they sample American culture and clown around. Included is never-before-seen coverage of their activities in New York, Washington D.C., and Miami shot by the Maysles Brothers (the masterminds behind the pioneering Rolling Stones documentary GIMME SHELTER). THE FIRST U.S. VISIT also includes three of the Beatles' unforgettable performances on the Ed Sullivan Show--preserved intact--as well as their first American concert in Washington, D.C., in its entirety.
