A hilarious, harrowing collection of government propaganda films intended to "educate" the public about nuclear war. Among the featured shorts are Burt the Turtle showing school children how to "duck and cover," a happy family going about its daily routine in a fallout shelter, and several army training films.
Compilation documentary, five years in the making, by filmmaker Kevin Rafferty, journalist Jayne Loader, and film researcher and archivist Pierce Rafferty, using newsreel and archival footage from the 1940s and 1950s during the height of America's Cold War paranoia.
