Since the mid 1980s, Megadeth has been an innovative force in the world of metal, always remaining one step ahead of the game. Capitol Records celebrates the band's continued creativity with this two-disc, 35-song retrospective spotlighting music from the band's groundbreaking debut, KILLING IS MY BUSINESS.AND BUSINESS IS GOOD, through 1999's progressive RISK and beyond. Twenty-three of the tracks on this set have been especially remastered, and the collection is organized as a chronology, following Megadeath's bold, sometimes revolutionary growth. The collection is also rounded out with a host of demo tracks, rare songs, live cuts, and songs Megadeth recorded especially for movie soundtracks. Mustaine's brilliant and uncompromising efforts as a guitarist, singer and songwriter are on full display in this collection, and have without a doubt established the band as one of heavy metal's true pioneers.
