In the summer of 2004, the Cirque du Soleil celebrated its 20th anniversary by returning to its hometown of Montreal, Canada, taking to the streets from whence they first emerged to entertain an audience of over 200,000. The celebration coincided with the 25th anniversary of the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal, and the lineup of musicians featured Youssou N'Dour, Daniela Mercury, and Jorane, along with the Cirque's own renowned singers, Francesca Gagnon, Élise Velle, Mathieu Lavoie, Laur Fugère, and Francine Poitras. The excitement and energy of the show inflamed the crowd for a night of magic and mystery, which is presented here on high-definition video.
